Last week, we lost a beloved member of the Sports Research family — John Vella. An NFL legend, Super Bowl Champion, USC All-American, and best friend and college roommate of our founder Jeff Pedersen, John’s impact on our story is immeasurable. John was a force of nature — a larger-than-life personality whose energy helped shape the very foundation of Sports Research. He was in fact the original Sports Research | Sweet Sweat Athlete Ambassador that traveled the world alongside Jeff Pedersen introducing Sweet Sweat to global audiences. Today, we honor his incredible life, his legacy, and the lasting mark he left on all of us. We miss you deeply, John.
