Dearest customers, friends, family, everyone. Merry, merry Christmas from my home and my family to yours. I try to keep calm and not to lose my breath these busy days; buying and wrapping the last Christmas gifts, keeping an eye on the children and the dog and being a present mother, while prepping the food and our house for guests. And all of this while making an effort to make one more Christmas magical and memorable for my children. We live in an 400 year old house. It’s far from perfect, it’s crooked and old but I LOVE the history and the atmosphere and the thought of families celebrating Christmas in this very house for hundreds of years. The atmosphere here is indeed very magical in itself. I try to let go of the idea of perfection. I know perfection won’t be a part of of their childhood memories anyway. I just need to remind myself. So. I embrace the chaos and I let them decorate the tree and the cookies. And no need to vacuum before guests arriving, right? We’ll make a perfect mess tonight anyway. And it’s all a bit quirky a chaotic and funny. Just like my family. For now: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for one more year. To you.
