Hosted a 45 min full body pilates class today and finished with a mediation about loving and appreciating your body without comparing yourself to anyone else. We have one body in this life and we need to practice giving it the love it deserves every single day. Whether that be giving yourself a little compliment, moving and exploring the shapes your body can create, fuelling it with nutrient dense foods or pausing to be in the moment and allowing rest and stillness. I hope today or in this moment you can give yourself a little compliment and thank your body for getting you through today whatever that may have looked like. Small consistent actions create big impacts. For me, my day started with feeling my body with a delicious smoothie followed by Dose and Co’s collagen creamer in my matcha. Having protein in the morning (especially for women) helps support hormone balance, improves focus and energy throughout the day and stabilises blood sugar levels preventing crashes and cravings throughout the day. This paired with movement, meditation, post pilates snacks andddd connecting with people had me very grateful towards my body carrying me through such a beautiful morning!
