Maybe you were gifted with the understanding of exactly how to have your hands all over someone’s face and make sure it’s keeping you grounded, but we have a feeling that not everybody was... In fact, some of the feedback we’ve receive from lash artists in trainings is that they try not to touch their client’s head or face as much as possible - but this will leave you in actual pain. Shoulders up around your ears? Arms held out like wings and hovering in the air? The shoulder and neck tension this can create is more than it’s worth. Not even including the fact that you won’t be stable enough to place lashes in the very precise way you need to as an artist. Here’s the scoop: The more stable you are, the more comfortable your client is. If you feel like they may feel odd with your hands on their face, all you have to do is talk to them about it first. The tip in the video is one of our favorite.
