A tangerine, a pair of baby feet, and a long-range flashlight - no one quite understands it, making it all the more special. All hand fabricated by the artist. “The last thing I bought and loved was a black leather ’70s de Sede couch from Merit in LA. It’s a long road with me and couches. I have two in storage… it’s complicated. I was doing a job in LA and was driving home afterwards when I saw the store. I walked in and I saw this couch, which basically cost the fee of the job, and I was like, this is it. It’s just the right couch for once in my life, because it looks good and it’s comfortable. This is a new thing for me, comfort on a couch. My old couch was this giant wraparound: I used to have lots of parties, but now I’m a lot calmer, and I didn’t love the couch without the parties, you know? I’ve realised that I like something that’s great for company and equally great alone, that’s great for talking on the phone, scrolling Instagram, making out. It’s so hard to find the right couch, and we are one now. This one’s for the baseball lover in your life ⚾️ Massive 4 foot x 6 foot painting. An original signed oil painting of Hall of Famer and 13-time All Star #Ken GriffeyJr. With a left-handed bat, acrobatic catches, and a smile that lit up the field, Junior became the face of the #SeattleMariners and helped redefine what it meant to be a sports superstar in the ‘90s. The artist #EricBlack released a series of lithographic prints based on this design, leaving this oil painting to stand alone as an original work. With careful brushstrokes and color blocking, Junior emerges from the canvas donning his teal Mariners jersey. His gaze upwards and his bat dragging afoot, it appears as though he has just swung, and is watching the path of the flying ball with anticipation. The color blocking in the background is a motif of the field, sky, and stadium. A small black scuff is present near the center of the painting, otherwise in great condition. The canvas has been removed from its original stretching bars, so it may be re-stretched or framed. Located at our Los Angeles showroom.

This one’s for the basketball lover in your life 🏀 An original signed oil painting of “The Glove” #GaryPayton, player for the #SeattleSuperSonics. One of the NBA’s best point guards, winner of the 1996 Defensive Player of the Year award, and 9-time selection for the league’s All-Star teams: Payton was known for his unmatched defensive skills, and quickly became the face of the Sonics’ franchise in the ‘90s. This painting is an original work by the artist #EricBlack. With careful brushstrokes and color blocking, Payton emerges from the canvas donning the Sonics’ quintessential ‘90s jersey, featuring the iconic orbiting basketball. With the ball between his outstretched hands, a hardy expression, and his right leg in the air, Payton plays toe-to-toe against Dennis Rodman of the Chicago Bulls. The color blocking in the background is a motif of the court and stadium. Overall in great condition. The canvas has been removed from its original stretching bars, so it may be re-stretched or framed. Signed Eric Black, 1996. Located at our Los Angeles showroom.
