If these keep occurring you should be focusing on fixing your routine and identifying why it keeps happening because then, it’s a sign your locs are continually dry and breaking🥹 Are your locs hydrated enough? Are they dry? Generally tighter textures like type 4 hair loc with more ease, while type 3 hair takes longer 🌴 • Hair density! This plays a big role because the thicker your hair, the lesser amount of locs it takes to achieve a full look. The two strand shrinkage is the worst 😭 Especially when your locs finally start dropping 🥹 Make sure you’re always keeping your locs hydrated while they are styled, the tension placed on your scalp can cause breakage and if they’re dry, it’ll only make it much worse 💦 🎥: kj_swagii

Would comb out yours ends for the curls? 🤔🌱 Be careful if you do decide to. Comb out is a process that can cause a lot of breakage and although your ends are only a very small section of your locs, there’s more than enough there to cause a considerable amount of damage 🌴 Take your time, be gentle and make sure that the hair is thoroughly hydrated, to not only make it easier but to minimize the chances of breakage 🤞🏾 🎥: @kirstin.yvonnee

Would y’all try it out? 🤔🌴 Freeform or not, after taking down a braid out the first thing you must do it hydrate your locs! 💦 This is to ensure you greatly reduce the risk of breakage happening, which could lead to thinning!
