I’ve been dreaming of this blouse idea for over a decade and actually working on the design for almost two years to get it just right. It was supposed to launch with the corduroy collections because it looks so perfect underneath the jackets and with all the pants and skirts we released this year. But I kept remaking and tweaking the design, with the final touch being the red velvet bow for which I held production by another six months to add at the last minute. Wish it would have been ready in time for the holidays! But I would rather release a design I feel is absolutely perfect than rush to production on a product I’m only 97% in love with just so I can finally fill the wholesale preorder requests I took nearly a year ago. Anyway, we are happy to report this gorgeous, soft and flowy viscose embroidered Desperado Ruffle Blouse is finally available for purchase and I love it so much I want to make it in every color. It’s modeled here in an XS on my lovely friend Kristine with both our Wild Child and Rust Cinnamon Girl pants and jackets.
